Bohdan Shiptenko

Bohdan Shiptenko is a Ukrainian artist. He was born on August 3, 1994 in Kryvyi Rih. In 2017 he graduated with a master's degree from Kryvyi Rih Pedagogical University, Faculty of Fine Arts. 

In most cases, I show those things that in everyday life we simply do not notice or pass by. I give people the opportunity to see in my paintings a captured moment from their life.

There are many figures in my paintings, where each character lives separately, but in an ideological sense, they are all united in a common activity that brings them together and carries a meaningful message.

I love watercolor painting for its magic, transparency and lightness. I painted only with professional watercolors, brushes on thick cotton paper.

In general it is the urban environment, its surroundings, architecture, cafes, crossroads, bustling city lifeand especially how people interact with this urban environment that inspires me.
